The EBH is open to contributions. You can flag a missing figure, submit a file of sources, or write a full entry. Every contribution is reviewed by the editorial committee.

Suggest a figure
Flag someone missing from the directory. A name, a few dates, a reason: enough to open a file.

Hold documents, photographs or sources about a person? Send them; they will feed the entry.

Researcher or specialist: propose a complete, sourced and referenced text, ready for review.

What an entry requires
- A dated identity: names, dates and places of birth and death.
- A classification: one to three fields, a period, keywords.
- A sober, dated narrative, in sections.
- At least four references, each major claim tied to a source.
- A methodological note on your sources.
- Rights-cleared images, with credit (never a generated image).
Submission → peer review (single-blind) → editing and assisted verification → author preview and approval → authorization to publish (signature) → going live.
